“The Living Matrix explains that distortive emotion disrupts the body's complex interrelation of energy fields, and the energy fields distort the physiology - producing disease. The answer from a healing point of view is to reduce the distortion in the field, so that the physiology approaches normality again. The thinker of the thoughts can replace the distortive emotional responses or the healer can shift the distortive field back towards normality and by doing so effect a positive change in the patient’s physiological expression.
The film has put into words my healing method RTL or Response to Life. I intuitively track down the primary Wrong Responses to life (for a specific person) that cause distortion in the physiology and affect function adversely, and through hands-on techniques and a shift in response encourage a different expression. If you fear spiders and I say, "There’s a spider on the wall!" translation into the body causes an adrenalin spurt that jumps you off the table and contracts your stomach in fear. Emotive thoughts or negative mental images shift the physiology. An ugly divorce can cause that much anger that a tumour can become well established in the liver in just two years (through translation).
The Living Matrix also draws attention to the superiority of heart over head in running the functions of the body. Choices from the head often override the heart leading to physiological distortion. For example, studying to be a doctor because you are an A student is encouraged by society, yet you have the talent of an engineer flowing through you from the heart. The wrong choice will lead to an unhappy doctor who has no healing flow. The unhappiness distorts the field, disrupting the field that with time encourages dis - ease that ends finally in disease. Many of our sick patients have followed head rather than heart resulting in distortive physiology.” Dr Barry Birkett, chiropracter.
